Subscription Terms & Services (“Subscription Policy”)
Effective Date: September 21, 2023
PLEASE CAREFULLY READ THIS AGREEMENT. IT DEFINES THE LEGALLY OBLIGATING SUBSCRIPTION TERMS AND SERVICES FOR YOUR SUBSCRIPTION OF THE WEB APPLICATION FOR “MY CORE JOURNEY”.
IN ACCORDANCE WITH THESE TERMS, YOU AGREE TO ARBITRATE DISPUTES WITH US AND WAIVE YOUR RIGHT TO SEEK REMEDIES FROM US IN A CLASS ACTION FORMAT.
1. General information
The following terms and conditions constitute a legally binding contract (the Agreement) that governs the MyCoreJourney Subscription Terms (“Subscription Terms”) and Subscription Services (“Subscription Services”) provided by My Core Journey company (hereafter referred to as “MyCoreJourney”, “the Company”, “we” or “us”) to you (you, yours, the user, the visitor or “the subscriber”).
The Subscription Terms and Subscription Services defined here are valid between you (subscriber) and the company. The subscriber must read and accept these Subscription Terms before purchasing a subscription on MyCoreJourney.com
We also have other policies including, without limitation, Terms and Conditions and Cookie and Privacy Policy. Those policies contain additional terms and conditions, which apply to the Subscription Services and are integral part of this Agreement. Your use of MyCoreJourney’s Subscription services constitutes your acceptance of and agreement to be bound by this agreement and our terms of service. If you do not agree to this Agreement, do not use the Subscription Services and/or our website or web application on mycorejourney.com. A link to these Terms and all other terms can be found in the footer of our website as well as in the subscription plan view and the purchase view. Users will not be notified of any changes to these Subscription Terms. The latest and most current version of the Subscription Terms will be posted on this page and available for the User to review at any time. We will provide notice by updating the “Last Updated “ date. By purchasing a Subscription on www.mycorejourney.com after this date, you agree to the updated Subscription Terms. Therefore it is your responsibility to review these Terms before you purchase a subscription.
If there is an inconsistency between our description of the third party’s Subscription Policy, and the third party’s own Subscription Policy, the third party’s Subscription Policy apply.
MyCoreJourney uses a thirdparty for the payment solution. The third party has secure payment servers that encrypts all information with SSL protocol, meaning your data such as creditcard number is secure and cannot be read by other third parties. This is required by Law. We advice you to read MyCoreJourney’s Cookie- and Privacy Policy carefully to understand how sensitive data is secured in MyCoreJourney.com.
2. Type of Subscriptions
2.1 FREE Subscription
With a user account, the user will receive a FREE subscription with access to certain sections and features of the product, including step 1 and 2, which are available to registered users. After step 2, the user has the option to unlock all sections and features, as well as steps 3 and 4, by purchasing a monthly CORE subscription. The user can also choose to unlock everything from the start to gain full access immediately. This is done by selecting “Purchase Subscription” from the top menu on the website.
2.2 Paid CORE Subscription (hereafter referred to as “CORE Subscription”)
The User will after step two be asked to unlock the remaining steps by purchasing the CORE subscription. The User can choose to purchase the CORE subscription after step two, or any time before that by choosing Purchase Subscription from the top menu or from the workspace To purchase the CORE subscription at any other point the User needs to go to his/hers menu on their Startpage, choose ‘Unlock All’’ and fill in required purchase fields. Upon ordering the CORE subscription the User may only provide information regarding their own payment and credit cards.
2.3 Paid CARE Subscription (hereafter referred to as “CARE Subscription”) is an offer for stable users
After 12 months with CORE subscription, the User will be offered an upgrade to a CARE subscription at a reduced monthly price. This offer is sent to users’ external mail on the 1st of the 12th month’s subscription. To make the shift to CARE subscription, users must accept the offer within 28 days after receiving the mail by pressing the I accept button in the mail. The upgrade will take place on the 1st of the following month. If you do not press the accept button within time the upgrade will not take place and users’ monthly CORE subscription will continue as before. We do not upgrade to CARE subscription in any other way than outlined here.
The offer is given once per year and will be sent to you every 12th month.
2.4 Business and other communities
Numerous consumer communities such as corporations, universities, hospitals, etc. (hereby referred to as the “Community” or “Communities”) may buy the Products and make them available to their staff and members after agreement with the Company. In some situations, these Communities may add their own terms and conditions to these Terms, which may include additional terms regarding subscription redemption, usage, or additional payment for mycorejourney access. In that case, if your membership is bought through a business or community your use of the Products is also subject to these Community terms and conditions. In the event of any discrepancy between such extra terms and these Terms, the additional terms shall govern.
3. Payment methods
3.1 Fees
Fees for using the Product must be paid according to the existing price list (subscription plan view) which is available on the website.
The CORE and CARE Subscription offers monthly payment, prepaid every 1st day of the month.
You authorize us to charge you for use of the Services, at the posted prices, (such prices subject to change at any time by the Company without any specific notice to you beyond posting notification on the website’s subscription view). Please carefully read about price changes in section 5. Adjustments and Changes. You represent and warrant that: any credit card or other payment information you supply is true and complete, and that charges incurred by you will be honored by your credit card company, and you are responsible to pay the charges incurred by you at the posted prices, including any applicable taxes. For currency and taxes (VAT) please read section 9. Payments.
Our ‘Monthly’ CORE Subscription is paid in monthly installments. For each month your monthly subscription is active, you acknowledge and agree that MyCoreJourney is authorized to charge the same credit card used for the initial subscription fee or other payment method as specified in the ‘Payment Method’ section. The monthly subscription renewal fees will continue to be billed to the payment method you provided at the time of purchasing the first month’s subscription until canceled. Refunds cannot be claimed for any partial monthly subscription period.
3.2 Offers
Any promotion and discount code or offers provided by mycorejourney may not be used in conjunction with any other promotion code or offer, past or present. Introductory offers are only available to new users of the Products, except where expressly stated otherwise. Previous users or trial users of the Products are not considered as new users. No promotion code or discount will apply to corporate or other Community subscriptions unless otherwise set forth in the terms of any promotion. Price promotions or discounts apply to the initial term of your subscription, and renewals will be billed at the non-discounted rate for the type of subscription purchased.
4. Termination of Subscription
4.1 Cancellation of Subscription
Your MyCoreJourney subscription (monthly) automatically renews until it is terminated. You can unsubscribe at any time by visiting your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period. Log in to your account, and from your workspace in the top menu to the right, select your profile icon and “My subscription,” and cancel your subscription to stop future payments before your next payment transaction. You must cancel your subscription 3 days prior to its renewal on the first day of each month to avoid being billed for the next month’s subscription fee to the payment method you have provided. If you cancel less than 3 days, you acknowledge being responsible for paying the renewal transaction for the coming month.
Your MyCoreJourney subscription (monthly) automatically renews until it is canceled. You can cancel your subscription at any time by visiting your account. The cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period. Log in to your account, go to your workspace, and select your profile icon in the top right menu. Choose “My Subscription” and cancel your subscription to stop future payments before your next billing transaction. To avoid unexpected charges, cancel your subscription at any time before it renews; otherwise, the next month’s payment will be processed using the payment method you have provided. My Core Journey’s billing follow the CET time zone. If you cancel too late, you agree to be responsible for paying the renewal transaction for the upcoming month.
You will be reverted to FREE Subscription Benefits with access to your content belonging to step 1-2. However, even if you choose to unsubscribe we do retain your personal user content from step 1-4 to facilitate easy return to a subscription. This means that should you decide to resume your CORE Subscription in the future, your previously saved work from step 1 to 4 will again be available to you including all CORE Subscription Benefits. By using MyCoreJourney Application you agree that if you terminate your subscription you allow us to store your personal user content securely and in accordance with our privacy policy to ensure it remains protected.
If you do not wish to take advantage of this option that we store your personal user content, you must delete your account. Deleting your account will immediately delete all your personal user content and all your user data.
4.2 Deleting an Account
If you choose to delete your account your subscription, your account information such as user data, your account, and your “personal user content” will be immediately deleted and cannot be restored. If you wish to subscribe again at a later time, you will have to start over and begin with step 1. You must delete your account 3 days prior to your paid subscription renewal on the first day of each new monthly payment cycle to avoid being billed for the next month’s subscription fee to the payment method you have provided. If you delete your account less than 3 days before the renewal, you acknowledge being responsible for paying the transaction for the coming month and acknowledge the refund terms described below.
4.3 Suspension
We may suspend your access or terminate your subscription to all or part of the website or use of the services, without notice to you, if 1) monthly payments are overdue, or 2) you violate any of these terms of use or engage in conduct that we believe is in violation of any applicable law or is harmful to MyCoreJourneys interests, or to another subscriber, or to a third party. Such suspension may be immediate and without notice and will immediately and permanently delete your account and your personal content, except in cases of overdue payment. If payment cannot be completed, we will notify you of the payment issue by email and revert you to the FREE subscription benefits and with access to your personal content related to steps 1 and 2. Your content related to steps 3-4 will be retained for 12 months, after which your content will be deleted without notice. Within these 12 months, you can subscribe to CORE subscription again and access all your content as well as unlock all CORE subscription benefits.
5. Refund
5.1 Refund
The European right of withdrawal gives consumers in Europe the opportunity to withdraw from an agreement within 14 days after the effective date (purchase date). However, since you voluntarily go through the purchase process and actively choose the subscription and accept these terms before the purchase, as well as you give your explicit consent and acknowledgment that you forfeit your right of refund for any unused portion of the MyCoreJourney service and digital product we do not offer a right of refund. Combined with the fact that you immediately have access and thereby use our service. There will be no refund for partial or whole month subscription periods. The law requires us to inform you that you do not have a right of withdrawal. By accepting these terms before completing the purchase, you waive your right to claim a refund. We advise you to cancel your subscription if you no longer wish to subscribe. Please read section 4 to see how we manage your personal content after subscription termination.
Although we do not offer a right of withdrawal in European or other countries, you can cancel your subscription at any time.
6. Payment
MyCoreJourney accepts online payments with the following credit cards; Visa/Dankort, Visa, Mastercard, Mobilepay Online (Danish subscribers). Payment will be deducted as outlined in section 3 “Payment methods”.
6.1 Amount reserved
When using a payment card, debit or credit card, a reservation is made for the amount traded for. This amount is reserved until the payment system has processed your order. When the order is dispatched, the amount will be withdrawn from the account. You agree not to hold us responsible for banking charges incurred due to payments on your account. If payment is not received by us from the Payment Method you provided, you agree to pay all amounts due upon demand by us.
6.2 Debit card authorization
When using a Debit Card, you will be able to see that money is reserved on your account and your available amount will therefore appear to be less.
If you or MyCoreJourney cancels the order, then the payment system will not be able to withdraw the money from your account, but you will still be able to see the reservation amount on your account for some time. Note, that only the bank (or card issuer) can cancel such a reservation.
6.3 Credit Card authorization
The money will be withdrawn from your account when MyCoreJourney’s payment provider processes and withdraws the payment from your order. The transaction will now appear in your bank overview with following description: “MyCoreJourney CORE” or “MyCoreJourney CARE” or the url “www.mycorejourney.com”.
6.4 MobilePay
When using the MobilePay payment solution for recurring and one-time charges, the user enters into a payment agreement, which the user must approve in his MobilePayapp. By choosing the Mobilepay payment solution, the user consents to the reservation of the amount and that the reservation is canceled immediately after the completion or cancellation of the payment. Immediately after a payment has been completed, the user can see in his/her MobilePay app that the amount has been paid. When the user has paid a charge from a payment agreement or a single payment with MobilePay, the user receives a confirmation of the transfer in MobilePay. If the user needs to find the confirmation at a later time, it can be viewed under “Activities” in the MobilePay app. This is only a confirmation of the transfer. MyCoreJourney advices you to carefully read MobilePay’s General Terms and Conditions. Section F contains specific terms related to Subscriptions. (MobilePay’s terms and conditions are described in Danish).
