* Which parts of me are truly mine – and which did I learn to become?
Right at the gates reality, we invite you to talk about “knowing yourself”. We talk about it as if we simply need to look inward and discover who we really are. But it is rarely that simple, and now with AI, our favorite uncle, our buddy, our darling the arguments for doing the hard inner work ourselves seems extremely unnecessary. But AI can’t go back and built your childhood from scratch. It has no say in it. You however, still do. So go deeper, deeper, deeper. That is all we have to say.
The way you avoid conflict. The way you chase approval. The people you choose. The things you tolerate. You learned it from your parents, from relationships, from rejection. But the hardest question… What actually matters to me, only you can answer. Quite frankly, only you, and mycorejourney. Because once you know what matters, you can start noticing where your life doesn’t align with becoming yourself, with what matters.
And that’s where “becoming” begins. Not with reinventing yourself but with making one different choice. Then another. You don’t become yourself by thinking about who you want to be. You become yourself by repeatedly acting like that person, until you nail it.
Knowing yourself is awareness. Becoming yourself is the work. It is about becoming more intentional about the person you are choosing to be. So take those risks there are because the life you want requires more courage than the life you have known. There is no perfect version of you waiting to be discovered. There is only the person you continue to build through the choices you make. There is no universal timetable for becoming. But there is a cost to living indefinitely against yourself.
What if your screen could bring you closer to yourself instead of further away?
